Werder Bremen are preparing for the departure of attacking midfielder Zlatko Junuzovic this summer amid interest from Premier League pair West Ham and Southampton.
According to Newsbuzzters, the Bundesliga side believe that the Austrian midfielder will be leaving the club in the near future and want his future to be resolved as soon as possible.
Junuzovic is under contract with Bremen until the summer of 2017, and has shown no intent in signing a new contract at the club. The Bundesliga side have deemed the chances of his stance changing on a new contract very slim.

Club legend and assistant general manager, Frank Baumann, has spoken out on Junuzovic’s future, stating they would like a decision to be made sooner so they have time to prepare for his replacement.
The later a decision is made on Zlatko, the more expensive it becomes (for us). The longer we have in preparation (for his exit) the more accurately we can look at whether it will pay off to let him go.
The 28-year-old had an indifferent time with Austria at Euro 2016. Many tipped them to be a dark horse at this summer’s competition but following a dramatic 2-1 defeat to Iceland they have gone crashing out after finishing bottom of Group F.
Werder Bremen have unwillingly accepted Junuzovic’s likely departure and are now waiting for a club to make an offer to their pleasing. West Ham and Southampton are the two clubs who are said to be most keen on him.
