Anthony Modeste is set for crunch talks with FC Koln next week, amid interest from West Ham and China, according to Bild.
Beijing Guoan tabled an offer, said to be in the region of €15m-€20m, for Modeste and would be prepared to offer the 24-year-old a significant wage rise.
Modeste’s only concern over a move to Beijing is the standard of the Chinese Super League. At 24, he has his career ahead of him and doesn’t want to risk throwing it away.
Koln’s sporting director Jörg Schmadtke will hold talks with the Frenchman next week regarding his future, with Jörg eager to retain his services.

West Ham were in contact with Koln over a potential move for Modeste last week and could yet still launch a bid which would certainly turn his head, but the Hammers have other strikers who are higher priority.
Modeste scored 18 times and assisted three in 36 appearances last season, including the winner in a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund.
