Silly season is well underway West Ham are being linked with every player that has ever played for Besiktas, while having bids rejected for a different player almost every day.
Only one player has officially signed for the Hammers so far this summer, Håvard Nordtveit on a free transfer, but there are several deals in the pipeline that could be finalised in the coming weeks.
Deals for Sofiane Feghouli and Gokhan Gonul are looking increasingly likely, while Slaven Bilic recently confirmed his interest in bringing Atiba Hutchinson and Gokhan Tore to East London.
West Ham are also in the market for a striker, though the hunt has been rather frustrating so far – having had bids for Michy Batshuayi, Alexandre Lacazette and Carlos Bacca rejected.
The activity in the transfer market is exciting to see, but it does make life hard when attempting to predict exactly what team Bilic will line-up with next season.
Regardless, I am going to attempt it anyway.
