The Mirror are now reporting that West Brom will offer striker Saido Berahino in a straight swap for West Ham striker Diafra Sakho this summer.
Sakho is up for sale as West Ham look to improve their squad and get a big name striker in as they look for another finish in the European spots in the league, which would leave Sakho surplus to requirements. West Ham have valued the 26-year-old at £15 million and have already rejected two bids from Sunderland this summer.

Berahino has been linked with a move away from The Hawthorns for 12 months now after Albion rejected 4 bids from Tottenham last summer but the forward decided to stay. His stock has plummeted this season after he scored just 4 league goals compared to his 14 the season before. Albion need to make a decision on Berahino this summer as he has just 12 months left on his contract which could see him leave for a nominal fee next year.
The move makes sense for both clubs: Sakho will get the regular first-team football he’s craving at the Hawthorns, while the Baggies get rid of their problem child who has been actively seeking a bigger move for the last 12 months.
