Yesterday West Ham were hit with the devastating news that our star performer, Dimitri Payet, had been ruled out for 3 months with an ankle injury.
Payet has been a constant in the starting line-up this season and was probably one of the first names on the team sheet for manager Slaven Bilic.
However now that the Frenchman will be out until February/March, someone will have to fill his starting spot.
