Insidefutbol tells us that Alex Song is set to return from injury in two weeks time.
There were rumours that Song was going to be available for the recent Chelsea game, however, Co-Chairman David Gold revealed that the medical staff helping Song to recover recommended at least one more recovery week.
The Cameroonian midfielder is on his second loan deal from Barcelona to West Ham but hasn’t played a game so far this campaign.
Song played 28 games for the Hammers last season.
Jack Sullivan, the son of the co-chairman was recently asked when Song would return he replied “two weeks”.
The return of Song is music to everyone’s years as recently Spanish newspaper Sport said that West Ham may end the loan deal early as Song has this constant injury.
Alex Song is going to help the team a lot with his return, however, who is going to be dropped from the team?
