The potential deal for Robert Green could be off due to QPR goalkeeper’s wage demands. The Daily Mail are reporting that Green is demanding a huge £50,000 a week contract.

The 35-year-old spent six years at West Ham from 2006 till 2012 and made 241 appearances for the club. He was at the club for the relegation season of 2010-11 season and remained in goal during the Championship campaign and played in the play-off final which West Ham won, returning to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Manager Slaven Bilic is currently in the midst of a goalkeeping crisis with first choice keeper Adrian banned for 3 games after his red card against Leicester during the 2-1 defeat. Darren Randolph looks set to step in, but West Ham are set to still chase Rob Green hoping he will lower his wage demands.
It would take a bid of around £1.5-million to get Green from QPR but the former England International is reluctant to play second fiddle to Spanish goalkeeper Adrian.
