The Independent are reporting that West Ham United will bid £12 million for Manchester united striker Javier Hernandez.
The Mexican International has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford over the summer, but reports say that Manchester United will bring in a forward before letting Hernandez go. The Hammers now face competition from Tottenham for Hernandez, who want a new striker to partner with Harry Kane.
The long-term injury to Enner Valencia and the increasingly worrying fitness of Andy Carroll means West Ham are in the market for a forward to take some of the work-load off Zarate and Sakho.
The 27-year-old has been at Manchester United since 2010 although he spent last year on loan at Real Madrid where he racked up 9 goals in 33 appearances. Despite never playing more than 30 games in a league season for Manchester United he has an impressive scoring record in England scored 37 goals in 102 Premier League appearances with numerous of these coming off the bench.
Interest appears to be high in the forward with numerous teams linked but the deal appears to hinge on whether Pedro leaves Barcelona to join Louis van Gaal’s side.
