West Ham United could now be back in the market for former Manchester City and Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, with the Togolese international set to leave Tottenham having spent four years at White Hart Lane.
He’s found first team football increasingly difficult to come by, and now that his move to Aston Villa seems to be on the rocks, The Guardian say West Ham have made their intention known to Spurs that they want to bring the former Manchester City and Arsenal striker to Upton Park.
However, the move very much depends on whether Daniel Levy is willing to let the striker move to the club this window, having stopped him from making the transfer back in January, despite the deal being close.

With just a year left on his Tottenham deal, The Hammers could find it much easier to complete a deal for the striker, and will be hoping Levy is much more co-operative this time around.
Aston Villa could still provide some challenge for West Ham as they bid to bring in the Togo international, but if he’s unwilling to change his mind about moving from his London home to Birmingham, then that could put Slaven Bilic in pole position for his signature, should they choose to go back in for him.
