How to watch Swansea City vs West Ham United: Preview, team news, TV

West Ham United will look to continue their Championship momentum when they make the trip to South Wales to take on Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

The feel-good factor has returned for Nuno Espírito Santo’s side, following the midweek rout over nine-man Lincoln City.

That result put the draws against Millwall and QPR firmly in the rearview mirror and now it’s about looking forward.

The Hammers go into the Swansea clash in third place, within touching distance of Middlesbrough one place above.

The Swans are the current league leaders, four points ahead of West Ham, so the team will need to rise to the challenge.

In midweek, Swansea recorded a narrow 1-0 win away to Millwall, solidifying their early season credentials.

Team news & key players

For the trip to Swansea, the key figures for the Irons include Jarrod Bowen, the creative spark with 5+ goals and 5+ assists this season (and a goal against Lincoln), defender Konstantinos Mavropanos, who has five league goals and opened the scoring midweek, and Tomáš Souček, who returned from a World Cup ankle injury, scored twice off the bench versus Lincoln after signing a new deal.

The Czech icon will be pushing for a start.

Other notables are goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, Max Kilman, and Arne Engels.

On West Ham team news, only midfielder Keiber Lamadrid is sidelined through injury.

Nuno Espírito Santo has an otherwise near-full squad and is expected to make only limited changes after the emphatic midweek win, though Edvin Austbø or Souček could feature more prominently after the impacts they made.
