  • West Ham beat Everton 2-1 at the London Stadium
  • Tomas Soucek and Callum Wilson scored for the Hammers
  • Jarrod Bowen assisted both goals

West Ham United beat Everton 2-1 to secure a crucial three points in their Premier League survival fight. The Hammers took the lead in the second-half through Tomas Soucek, before Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall pulled the Toffees back into it.

Nuno Espirito Santo rang the changes, bringing on Callum Wilson, who would find the net in added time to give West Ham the win and keep them out of the bottom three.

Here’s your player ratings.

Player Ratings

Mads Hermansen – 6.0

Played solid in the most part all afternoon. Wasn’t particularly at fault for the goal.

Malick Diouf – 7.5

Had a serious impact down his side of the pitch, looked a real threat.

Axel Disasi – 6.5

Not his best game is a West Ham shirt but not a bad one.

Konstantinos Mavropanos – 6.5

Same as Axel Disasi today, not to bad, not too good, just solid.

Kyle Walker-Peters – 7.5

Since coming back into the team has made the position his own. Looked really solid.

Mateus Fernandes – 7.0

Class on the ball as always. Wasn’t as influential as he’d of liked but still a good showing.

Tomas Soucek – 8.0

Came up with the header at just the right moment and helped control the middle for the most part.

Crysencio Summerville – 7.5

Back to his old self. Terrorized Everton all day long.

Pablo Felipe – 5.5

Just didn’t look himself and couldn’t link up play as he has previously. Not a great day for Pablo.

Jarrod Bowen – 8.5

Provided the assist for Tomas Soucek’s goal and Callum Wilsons. A threat all day, put it however you want but Jarrod Bowen is good at football when he get’s going.

Valentin Castellanos – 6.5

Ran his socks off as he always do but just could not fashion a real opportunity.

Substitutes

Freddie Potts – 6.0

Didn’t see all that much of the ball.

Callum Wilson – 8.0

Did what he does best. Callum Wilson has a great record against Everton and he adds one more that tally.

Jean-Clair Todibo – 6.0

Came on to sure up the game.
