  • West Ham drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace on Monday night
  • The point takes the Hammers two point above the bottom three
  • Konstantinos Mavropanos and Axel Disasi the standout performers

West Ham United took another step towards safety as they drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace on Monday night. The game, that the Hammers may feel they should have won, was a midfield battle that West Ham had the better chances of.

Here’s your player ratings.

Player Ratings

Mads Hermansen – 6.5

Another day of having the minimum to do and he dealt with everything thrown at him.

Malick Diouf – 6.0

Had a much better first-half before he was run ragged a little in the second.

Axel Disasi – 7.5

Stood tall and looked as strong as ever. Another strong performance from Axel Disasi.

Konstantinos Mavropanos – 7.5

Alongside his defensive partner, Konstantinos Mavropanos looked his usual self and could have scored.

Kyle Walker-Peters – 7.0

Kyle Walker-Peters attacked well and dealt with most of what came down his side. His stake on a starting place is looking good going forward.

Crysencio Summerville – 7.0

A bit more like his usual self. The drift inside allowed the winger to use the ball better. One more week and full Crysencio Summerville shoudl be back.

Tomas Soucek – 7.0

Looked very good in the first half, controlling the middle. Faded in the second as did West Ham.

Mateus Fernandes – 7.5

Controlled the tempo for much of the match. Needs his forwards to do some more finishing.

Jarrod Bowen – 7.0

Class on the ball but a little too many of his balls were wayward and yet still so close to finding a match winning moment. More good than bad.

Pablo Felipe – 6.5

Ran his socks off with Castellanos up top but just couldn’t find quality in the final third.

Valentin Castellanos – 6.5

Like Pablo, ran a mile for West Ham but couldn’t carve out the all important chance. Needs to be a little more sharp.

Substitutes

Callum Wilson – 6.0

Simply did not see enough of the ball.

Mohamadou Kante – 6.0

Looked good on the ball in his cameo. Mohamadou Kante’s runs could be a bigger weapon down the stretch.
