On this day (March 8) in 2000, West Ham overcame Southampton 2-0 at Upton Park.

Two strikes against Southampton, but which was the better goal?!

Yet another memorable Upton Park occasion.
Whilst the London Stadium is becoming more like a home, many will never truly accept it as a replacement for the iconic former ground.
Over time and with the current success of David Moyes’ side and it’s own crop of modern-day heroes, perhaps one day the new stadium will indeed be a home from home for the loyal Hammers’ supporters.
