West Ham have reportedly made ‘concrete contacts’ to sign Udinese attacking midfielder Gerard Deulofeu.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed a rejuvenating spell in Italy following an inconsistent time at Watford previously.
Now back performing on the big stage, the former Barcelona man could be on the move once more.
According to a report from Calciomercato, as cited by Football Transfers on Twitter, the Hammers are keen on bringing the Spaniard back to the Premier League.

The report claims that the East London club are ‘ready’ to bring the four-cap Spain ace back to England.
This season Deulofeu – once hailed as a ‘special talent’ by Roberto Martinez – has scored eight times and provided two assists in 24 appearances across all competitions.

Valued at £9million and under contract in Italy until 2024 (Transfermarkt), signing the Spaniard would likely be a relatively inexpensive move – albeit the report makes no mention of a fee.
Capable of playing across the front three, Deulofeu would be a superb addition to David Moyes’ squad having earned his stripes across various clubs.
Boasting a plethora of impressive attributes, at the right price this would certainly be a move worth exploring for West Ham.
