Former Premier League striker Gabby Agbonlahor believes West Ham defender Kurt Zouma‘s season could be finished.
This comes after the 27-year-old was widely criticised for a video released on social media this week.
Despite being included in David Moyes’ side against Watford, the Frenchman has continued to face the backlash and has since been dropped by sponsors Adidas.
Speaking to Football Insider, Agbonlahor believes the under-fire centre-back could have appeared for a final time this term.
He’s done for the season and I can’t see him playing again in the Premier League. What he has done is a disgrace. I’m not even a pet lover, I don’t have pets but watching that video was sickening, never mind the vast majority of the English population that have pets. It was sickening what he’s done and it’s evil. If you don’t want a pet, don’t have a pet. Honestly, it was one of the worst things I’ve watched for a long time. West Ham will be thinking they can’t play him. It will effect the team and it will be hostile. There has got to be a big punishment for what he has done.
The 35-year-old ex-Aston Villa man went on to reiterate that the footage was ‘one of the worst things’ he had seen.
So far this season Zouma has played 16 times across all competitions for the Hammers.

One thing is for sure is that this is not going to just go away.
Albeit the club have now acted by fining the former Chelsea man, it would appear many are not content with the punishment.
Signed last summer for £29.8million (Sky Sports), West Ham are unlikely to cast aside such an investment without care.
However, there is certainly growing pressure and Moyes could still be forced to backtrack on the decision to include Zouma moving forwards.
