West Ham are reportedly ‘considering’ a move for Marseille central defender Duje Caleta-Car.
The Hammer have been extensively linked with a move for the 25-year-old previously and could finally be set to act upon their long-standing interest.
As the transfer window enters its final week, Irons’ boss David Moyes is still on the lookout for defensive reinforcements.
According to a report from The Athletic, as cited by West Ham News & Views on Twitter, Caleta-Car could be on the agenda.

The report claims that West Ham are ‘more inclined to making a loan signing’ with the 20-cap Croatian international a contender.
This season Caleta-Car – who has a mooted asking price of €15 million (£12.8 million) – has earned an impressive 7.15 average Sofascore rating in 11 Ligue 1 outings.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Valued at £14.4million and out of contract at the end of the next season (Transfermarkt), signing the Croatian would be a wholly achievable venture.
Possessing strong aerial ability and concentration (WhoScored), Caleta-Car would be a top-level addition to the West Ham ranks.
Capable of stepping into the breach from the outset as well as being a long-term successor to Craig Dawson or Angelo Ogbonna, this is a deal that the club should be moving heaven and earth to pull off.
