West Ham could be alerted by an update on the contractual situation of Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho.
The 19-year-old has reportedly rejected a new deal at Craven Cottage and therefore could be set to leave the club for nothing next summer.
That’s if Championship high-flyers Fulham decide not to cash-in on the Portugal-born England youth international in January.
According to a report from The Atheltic, as cited by Peter Rutzler on Twitter, Carvalho is destined to leave the Cottagers.
This could spark an interest at the London Stadium as the Hammers were previously linked with a move for the versatile attacker.
Before being ruled out through illness and injury, Carvalho scored three times and registered one assist in five league outings.
Overall in 94 appearances across all levels for Fulham, the starlet described as ‘fantastic’ by Marco Silva has netted a hugely impressive 37 goals and provided 20 assists.

Signing a player as highly regarded as Carvalho for nothing would be an incredibly shrewd piece of business from the Irons.
Possessing an array of attacking attributes, the starlet is equally adept across a variety of positions and would be an instantly worthwhile addition to David Moyes’ squad.
Now it would appear Fulham are resigned to losing their ace, West Ham must work on fending off a host of suitors including Liverpool, Leeds United and Southampton.
