West Ham are reportedly heading into an ‘advanced stage’ of negotiations in a deal for Sparta Prague forward Abdallah Sima.
The Hammers have been linked with the 20-year-old for a prolonged period and could finally be about to land their man.
Irons’ boss David Moyes looks set to head into the opening weekend of the Premier League campaign with only Michail Antonio available as a recognised frontman.
According to a report from West Ham Fans.org, as cited by West Ham Fan Zone on Twitter, attacking reinforcements could be on the way.

The report cites information from a ‘genuine source’ claiming that the east London club are deep in conversation with Sparta regarding the twice capped Senegal ace.
Last season, Sima scored 11 times and registered five assists in 21 Fortuna Liga outings – adding four Europa League goals in the process.

Described as being ‘always a threat’ by Liverpool icon Vladimir Smicer, the £9.9million valued (Transfermarkt) Senegalese star would be a worthwhile addition to the squad at the London Stadium.
Capable of playing centrally as well as on both wings, Sima is credited with searing pace and impressive finishing ability – two attributes that would endear Moyes to the signing.
Perhaps not the out and out striker many Hammers had hoped for, but adding further options in forward positions is now an essential part of the remaining days of the transfer window.
