West Ham are reportedly ‘on the verge’ of signing Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic this summer.
The Hammers have been perennially linked with the 23-year-old in recent months as David Moyes goes in search of defensive reinforcements.
Milenkovic has entered the final 12 months of a contract in Italy and could be about to arrive at the London Stadium for €17million (£14.4million) plus add-ons.
That’s according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, as cited by Sport Witness on Twitter.

The report claims that the 28-cap Serbia ace is ‘about to leave’ the Tuscany club as negotiations progress to the ‘very advanced’ stage.
Last season Milenkovic scored three times and added one assist in 34 Serie A outings.

Valued at £22.5million (Transfermarkt), signing the Serb for the mooted fee would be an extraordinary piece of business.
Linked with Juventus and Tottenham previously, the Irons would be landing an elite player for a bargain price.
Also capable of filling in at right-back, Milenkovic would predominantly come in as an additional central defender alongside Angelo Ogbonna, Craig Dawson and Issa Diop.
