West Ham are reportedly eyeing a move for Nice defender Flavius Daniliuc this summer.
The Hammers are believed to be battling Premier League rivals Southampton for the 20-year-old Austria Under-21 captain.
A product of both the esteemed Real Madrid and Bayern Munich academies Daniliuc could be available on a permanent or loan deal.
That’s according to a report from the Daily Mail, as cited by Football Transfers on Twitter.

Valued at £5.4million and under contract until 2024 in France (Transfermarkt), singing the Austrian would likely be a lower cost option to the alternatives.
Albeit Daniliuc is unlikely to come immediately into the first-team at the London Stadium given the starlet’s relative inexperience at senior level, the Irons would be landing a hot prospect.
Capable of operating across the backline, David Moyes would benefit from the added versatility in the squad.
