West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek has shared a message with supporters on making a return to training this week.
The 26-year-old was granted extended leave following exploits with the Czech Republic in Euro 2020 and has now returned from holiday.
Clearly delighted to rejoin his Irons’ teammates for the final stretch of pre-season training, Soucek took to Twitter to welcome in the new campaign and admit what he is most excited by.
Twitter: Back in London and honestly, I’ve been so looking forward to it. Big season is ahead of this great team and I’ll do… https://t.co/6zY8S59KKO (@tomassoucek28)
Last season, Soucek played a pivotal role in David Moyes’ side as the Hammers finished in sixth place and qualified for Europa League football in the process.
The 39-cap bulwark featured in all 38 Premier League games in 2020/21 and earned a remarkable 7.16 average Sofascore rating along the way.
