West Ham central defender Angelo Ogbonna has marked six years as a Hammer on social media.
The experienced Italian ace was reminiscing over joining the east London club this weekend as the 33-year-old prepares to embark on another domestic campaign.
Signed from Juventus in 2015 for a reported £10million (BBC), Ogbonna has become a mainstay for the Irons and an extremely popular figure amongst the fanbase.
Citing the club as a ‘family, the 13-cap Italy ace took to Twitter to recognise the anniversary.
Twitter: Back in the days: 6 years ago I joined this family.
And today we are still here fighting together.

Ogbonna made a senior debut for Torino back in 2007, playing 90 minutes against Reggina in a Serie A clash.
Some 430 appearances later, the Italian stalwart is edging towards 200 outings for the Hammers and could play a huge part in David Moyes’ plans once again.

Few signings over the last decade have made the impact the centre-back has managed in east London.
Despite his advancing years, Ogbonna still made 28 Premier League appearances last season.
This weekend was undoubtedly cause for double celebration for the Iron after Italy overcame England on penalties to win Euro 2020.
