West Ham look set to miss out on the capture of Barcelona full-back Junior Firpo this summer.
Perennially linked with the Hammers, it emerged yesterday that Premier League rivals Leeds United were in fact close to agreeing on a deal to sign the 24-year-old marauding ace.
Despite the interest from east London, David Moyes seemingly never came close to land the left-back, with Serie A giants AC Milan previously standing in the way.
Now, according to a report from Sport and as cited by Transferchanger on Twitter, the Spanish youth international is expected to arrive at Elland Road.

The report claims that the Yorkshire club will pay in the region of £12.8million for the ex-Real Betis man.
Despite being somewhat outcast at the Camp Nou, Firpo still managed 18 appearances last term – including six in the UEFA Champions League.

It seems as though Moyes will have to look elsewhere for competition and cover for the evergreen Aaron Cresswell.
As for Firpo, there will be a sense of missing out at the London Stadium, especially given the Dominican Republic born ace’s impressive versatility.
