West Ham could see their attempts to sign Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard depend on another huge summer deal.
The Hammers are desperate to land the 28-year-old after a sensational loan spell during the second half of last term in east London.
Irons’ boss David Moyes has expressed a desire to land the attacking midfielder on a permanent basis, however, thus far any moves towards a permanent deal have proven fruitless.
Now, a fresh report from the Evening Standard, as cited by West Ham Fan Zone on Twitter, has claimed the move could hinge on whether the Old Trafford club can sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

The report claims Lingard is tempted to remain at his boyhood club and fight for a spot in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans.
A proposed £73million (The Guardian) capture of Sancho would further block any route to regular action and could see the 29-cap England ace opt to move on.
During a six month spell at the London Stadium, Lingard scored nine times and added another five assists in 16 Premier League outings – helping fire the Hammers to Europa League qualification.

In many ways, the ace’s desire to compete for a starting berth at Manchester United is commendable.
Despite being an outcast for the entire first half of the season, clearly, there’s new-found confidence that wants to prove a point.
From a West Ham perspective, Sancho signing for the Manchester club and Lingard pitching back up at West Ham would be the ideal scenario, albeit the £30million asking price may increase in an attempt to recoup some of the expenditure.
Valued at £19.8million and with just 12 months remaining on a contract extension (Transfermarkt), the Hammers would be rightly reticent to pay over the odds.
