Former West Ham winger Trevor Sinclair believes Burnley ace Chris Wood would have no problem fitting in at West Ham.
The striker has been in a rich vein of form in recent weeks and surpassed 10 goals for the fourth consecutive Premier League season.
Having netted eight goals in his last nine appearances, there is speculation as to whether the 29-year-old could be ready to make a move from Turf Moor this summer.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Sinclair has claimed Wood has all the attributes to make the grade in David Moyes’ side.
You look at what David Moyes has built at West Ham over the last 12, 18 months and Chris Wood could fit into a side like that with no hesitation. Whether a club is going to pay the money, I’m not sure what he’d cost, but you’d only know if you give him the opportunity. It’s whether someone is going to pay the money because he is obviously the talisman.
The Hammers are almost certain to enter the transfer market this summer for a frontman following the January departure of Sebastien Haller to Ajax.
Owing to recent form, Wood now has 12 Premier League goals this season – earning an average Sofascore rating of 6.82 in 31 outings.

Signing the 56-cap New Zealand international would certainly provide Moyes with a tried and tested striking option.
Having netted 158 career goals, the 6’2 powerhouse also possesses plenty of attributes that would be beneficial to the Irons.
Under contract until 2023, Wood holds a perceived market value of £7.2million – a figure that would make the frontman highly attainable.
