Former West Ham striker Marlon Harewood believes Jesse Lingard won’t be thinking of moving away from the London Stadium this summer.
This follows a report from ESPN earlier this month claiming Europe’s elite in the shape of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have taken an interest in the on-loan Manchester United ace.
Further to that, Leicester City and Arsenal are also reportedly interested, whilst the attacking midfielders parent club are keen to bring the 28-year-old back into the reckoning at Old Trafford next term.
Harewood, who played 164 times for the Irons, has told Football FanCast that Lingard won’t be considering anywhere outside of east London.
When you’re in there at West Ham you understand what it’s like as a family club and how things work. You just want to play for them and I’ll be very surprised if he goes anywhere else. I think because he’s had a taste of West Ham he will want to stay, and if there’s a place that he would want to go it would probably be West Ham.
The attacking midfielder has certainly recaptured his best form having barely featured in the first half of the 2020/21 campaign – scoring nine goals and registering four assists in just 11 outings for the Hammers.

Irons will certainly hope that’s the case as the difficulty in signing Lingard seems to heighten with each passing superb performance.
One thing that is for sure is that the asking price will have undergone a major hike in recent weeks, similarly to the Warrington-born ace’s market value.
