West Ham have agreed on a deal to sign Matthew Bondswell from RB Leipzig, according to Football Insider.
The England Under-18 full-back is reportedly heading to east London for a medical after agreeing the terms of a move.
David Moyes has been linked with numerous young full-backs as the Irons manager looks to underpin his first team squad with ready-made replenishment.
Bondswell, an 18-year-old who signed for RB Leipzig from the youth setup at Nottingham Forest, will be Moyes’ second teenage defensive signing this month after completing a deal for Frederik Alves at the start of the transfer window.
The teenager will bring an end to a season-long loan with Dutch second division side FC Dordrecht in order to complete his move to the London Stadium.
During his spell in the Nertherlands, Bondswell – who has 12 England youth caps – has played seven times, earning an average Sofascore match rating of 6.37.

There’s no doubt about it; Moyes is planning for the future.
Having signed Alves as an apparent Angelo Ogbonna successor, Bondswell could well be viewed as the heir to Aaron Cresswell’s glistening throne.
The Hammers may be especially delighted to have pulled off this coup ahead of London rivals Chelsea, who were also keen on the teenage starlet.
