West Ham‘s pursuit of a striker has seen Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri named as the latest in a long line of potential suitors.
The Athletic reported that the Hammers had a bid of €30m (£26.7m) rejected for the 23-year-old, although the club remain keen on making the deal happen.
With a Europa League medal already to his name, En-Nesyri has gone from strength to strength this season and is among the leading scorers in La Liga – just three behind a certain Lionel Messi.
Despite keeping such illustrious company and with the proviso that West Ham are in desperate need of a centre-forward addition, the Irons faithful aren’t universally sold on the Moroccan’s credentials and have reacted accordingly.
