West Brom are considering a move for West Ham winger Robert Snodgrass this month, according to the Express & Star.
Now under the stewardship of former Hammers boss Sam Allardyce, the Baggies are in serious relegation trouble and the impact of his January transfer recruits seems crucial if they are going to stand a chance of staying up.
Allardyce will be keen to bolster his squad with Premier League experience and has seemingly turned to one of his many former clubs for inspiration. Snodgrass could well be allowed to leave the London Stadium this month, having barely featured under David Moyes this season.
The 33-year-old joined West Ham from Hull City in January 2017 for £10.2m and in the past has been a superb servant to the Irons – last season was his best in east London, contributing with five goals and five assists in 24 league outings.

Isn’t it nice to potentially be able to sanction a deal to a relegation-threatened club without the fear of it biting the Hammers on the proverbial.
Snodgrass probably deserves more first team football – now in the twilight of his career, the retired Scotland international won’t want to waste too much time watching on from the bench.
With Said Benrahma, Pablo Fornals, and Jarrod Bowen all vying for two wide berth in the first XI, Moyes should probably allow the experienced Scotsman to move on if the veteran is eager to do so.
