West Ham are considering the possibility of recalling Felipe Anderson from his loan spell at FC Porto before sending him elsewhere, according to a report from The Guardian.
Anderson’s loan at Porto just hasn’t worked out for the Brazilian winger as the 27-year-old has made just five appearances since joining in October. Those five games are yet to produce a full 90 minutes of action as Anderson struggles to find his form in Portugal.
The Hammers sent Anderson out on loan in the hope that the £22.5m-valued winger could regain his form and confidence in order to either return to the London Stadium or increase his value ahead of a summer sale.
With the Brazilian currently out of Porto’s matchday squad, the loan move is currently looking a pointless exercise for all involved and the Irons could be set to cancel the deal this month in order to find another solution for him.

One thing seems certain – David Moyes won’t be keen on reintegrating the one-time Brazil international back into his settled squad.
In truth, there simply isn’t much scope for Anderson forcing his way back into Moyes’ plans – after all, the winger was cast out on loan for a reason.
With Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen performing admirably both in an attacking and defensive sense, the Hammers seemingly have no room for the former Lazio man right now.
