Predicted West Ham XI: Chelsea (A)

West Ham travel across London tonight to face Chelsea with a chance to climb to sixth in the table and leapfrog their capital rivals.

David Moyes‘ team comes into this clash after taking four points from their last two matches and can be confident of causing Frank Lampard’s side plenty of problems.

Chelsea have wavered of late after starting the season in strong fashion, but Moyes will be all too aware of the threat posed by the expensively assembled squad at Stamford Bridge.

Moyes confirmed in Saturday’s press conference that Michail Antonio remains touch and go for this one despite returning to training on the grass.

Central defender Fabian Balbuena is the only other major doubt as he is still recovering from an injury which saw him miss the Hammers’ 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace last week.

West Ham fans could be optimistic having watched their team do an unlikely double over the Blues last season. The Irons completed the feat with a 3-2 victory in July at the London Stadium.

Here’s how we think Moyes will line up to cause yet another London derby day upset, sticking with four at the back considering the injury news and the five-day rest since the Palace clash…
