West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek has backed the club to raid his former employers Slavia Prague once again, this time for a striker.
The 25-year-old has been a revelation since arriving on loan from the Czech outfit in January – a move which was made permanent during the summer.
The Czech Republic international has proven a hit with the scouting team already as the combative central midfielder backed the arrival of compatriot Vladimir Coufal from Slavia Prague.
Speaking to CT Sport, Irons stalwart Soucek has backed the club to make a move for teenage Slavia forward Abdallah Sima, saying: ”From what I see, I have to say, I’m excited about him. His goals are very much similar to what I’ve been scoring. I’m glad that such a player was found, but it’s not just about that. He shows one-on-one qualities, finishing, just a typical winger.”
Soucek added that people at West Ham ‘know about him’ and tipped the Senegalese 19-year-old for big things.

With 13 goals in 18 games this season (Transfermarkt), Sima is an exciting prospect who looks to have a bright future ahead of him.
Given West Ham’s recent track record of successful signings from Slavia Prague, this is a deal which should at least considered by the club, especially with the Soucek seal of approval.
