West Ham have been handed a winter transfer boost after reports from TEAMtalk indicated that the Hammers are among a host of suitors eyeing a move for MK Dons left-back Matthew Sorinola.
The 19-year-old has been something of a breakout star for the Dons this season and is said to have made a big impression in first team plans.
However, the defender is reportedly a wanted man.
Leeds, West Brom, Burnley and fellow Londoners Crystal Palace have all kept tabs on the youngster, whilst there is further interest from the Championship in the form of Brentford, Middlesbrough and Bournemouth.
Sorinola originally spent time at the academy of Fulham but has developed at the Milton Keynes-based outfit since he was a 16-year-old.
He recently spent time out on loan with non-league sides, though he has since made a big impression on manager Russell Martin – and a host of scouts from major Premier League and Championship sides in the process.

MK Dons and League One should not be shunned.
Dele Alli is one famous graduate that was plucked straight from the Dons at a promising age by London rivals Tottenham.
The experienced international is living proof that West Ham are far from wrong to be sniffing around the wider English footballing pyramid for talent.
Investing in young talent is rarely a backwards step; the left-back could be a real coup if the Hammers can fend off suitors for his signature.
However, a lack of a clear pathway to first-team football could prove a stumbling block that nullifies the Hammers’ competitive advantage.
