West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek earned the Hammers all three points during a dramatic finale on Saturday night at London Stadium.
The Czech Republic international managed to squeeze his effort past Fulham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who had previously been in inspired form as he made a string of saves
West Ham somehow almost conspired to throw away the victory as Said Benrahma, who set up Soucek’s decisive goal, brought down Tom Cairney inside the area for a Fulham penalty.
However, the spot kick from Ademola Lookman was poorly struck and duly saved, the last action of the match as Moyes’ side took all three points and climbed to 12th place in the Premier League before the international break.
These Hammers fans enjoyed Soucek’s fourth goal for the club and reacted accordingly…
Right place at the right time again for Soucek; seems to have the habit of consistently pitching in with goals for West Ham irrespective of whether or not he is playing well. Soucek is finally the regular goalscoring midfielder West Ham have been crying out for for ages.

The 25-year-old has quickly become a fan favourite in east London since making his loan move from Slavia Prague into a permanent transfer in the summer, and Saturday’s winner will only enhance his reputation.
