West Ham forward Albian Ajeti could be on the move this summer and according to a report from the Daily Record, Celtic are one of the teams interested in signing the forward and they’ve made an enquiry about his availability.
Ajeti arrived at West Ham last summer when Manuel Pellegrini and his recruitment team chose to pay £8million to sign the Swiss international from his hometown club Basel.
For whatever reason, the 23-year-old has not lived up to expectations at West Ham and new manager David Moyes looks set to let the Swiss star leave the club.
The Daily Record report that Celtic would like to take the player on loan, but West Ham would prefer to sell him and with a number of English clubs seemingly interested, they may well be able to get Ajeti off the books and get back some of the £8m that they paid to get him

As we’ve seen in the past at West Ham, managerial changes can often leave a squad unbalanced and containing players who the new man in charge simply doesn’t want around.
The Hammers, for too long, have found themselves chopping and changing the club’s manager, meaning the squad is full of players signed by a host of different ex-bosses.
Whilst Moyes may not be the manager that some West Ham fans want in charge, the club need to stick by him for a period and let him build a squad in his image and if that means shipping out players like Ajeti, then so be it.
A move to Celtic might be good for the player but it makes little sense for West Ham to loan him out as a sale would make more sense.
Of course, given the current climate, the Hammers may not be able to get a suitable fee for the Swiss international and if that’s the case, letting him go out to somewhere like Celtic on loan for a season could be a good way of helping to preserve his value and increase interest from other clubs if he is able to perform well.
