West Ham co-owner David Sullivan is keen to offload Jack Wilshere this summer but we feel that could be easier said than done.
The midfielder has been out of action for several months with injury problems, something that he has unfortunately become familiar with during the course of his career.
Wilshere still has just over a year remaining on his current Hammers deal after signing a three-year contract in the summer of 2018 (BBC Sport).
We feel that letting him go could prove to be difficult, mainly because we believe not many clubs will want to sign him.
Wilshere is very injury prone, proven by the fact that he has missed a remarkable 53 games in the last two seasons due to injury.
That could put plenty of teams off pursuing a move for the Englishman, as well as his high wage demands.
The central midfielder earns £100,000 a week at West Ham (Spotrac) and may want something similar if he moves, however, many clubs may not want to risk paying so much money to someone who rarely plays.
Furthermore, as stated earlier on, the 28-year-old still has over a year left on his current deal, meaning he is not obliged to leave the club at the moment.
Sullivan has reportedly been exploring ways of getting Wilshere out of the club but because of the above reasons, we feel he could struggle to do so.
