According to a report on Takvim, West Ham are interested in a €15m deal for Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama, but the Hammers face one big problem.
As stated in the report, the centre-back, who has helped the Turkish side to boast the best defensive record in the Super Lig this season, is being targeted by the Hammers.
The London club have made an enquiry about the centre-back but the Turkish side are yet to respond and are said to be waiting for some more discussions before making a decision.

But there’s one problem. Fellow Premier League side Everton are also heavily interested in Luyindama and have made contact with Galatasaray.
We believe that this is a problem because the defender may be attracted more towards the Toffees, mainly because of Carlo Ancelotti, who has a big reputation in the game.
Furthermore, Everton are higher in the table than West Ham and can be assured of Premier League football next season, whilst at the moment, there’s still some uncertainty about whether the Hammers will be in the top flight next season.
Everton seem to be prepared to push for European football and that could also tempt the centre-back to choose Merseyside over London and hinder the Hammers’ transfer business.
