West Ham United’s official Twitter account have been covering their famous 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on their page and their Slaven Bilic post has resulted in many reactions from Hammers fans.
Bilic was in charge of the club at the time as they secured victory over London rivals Tottenham at Wembley Stadium in the Carabao Cup in October 2017 (BBC Sport).
Andre Ayew netted twice and Angelo Ogbonna grabbed the winner as the Hammers came from 2-0 down to win and advance into the quarter-finals of the competition.
One month after that win, the club decided to sack Bilic after winning only two of their opening 11 Premier League matches (Sky Sports).
The Croatian is now in charge of Championship side West Bromwich Albion, who are currently second in the league table behind Leeds United.
Many Hammers fans on Twitter clearly miss Bilic and would not mind if he returned to the club one day.
