West Ham United have been linked with a move for Matheus Pereira and these Hammers fans are buzzing with the news.
According to Football Insider, West Ham have been closely tracking Pereira and are interested in a deal for the attacking midfielder.
The playmaker is currently on loan at Championship side West Bromwich Albion from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
Pereira has been one of the standout performers for the Baggies so far this season, helping the team to second place in the league table.
He has six goals and a remarkable 16 assists in the Championship this season (Transfermarkt).
The Baggies are closing in on triggering a clause that will oblige them to make a permanent move for the midfielder, but with football suspended until the end of April, that clause isn’t putting the Hammers off pursuing him.
