Tottenham Hotspur have joined West Ham United and Napoli in the race for Loren Moron’s signature this summer, according to a report on La Razon.
The striker’s good form this season has now seen London rivals Spurs register their interest, with manager Jose Mourinho reportedly seeing Moron as a replacement for Harry Kane.
The Hammers chased the Real Betis striker recently, having a €25m offer rejected a few months ago, according to a report on Corriere dello Sport.
The 26-year-old has 11 goals and two assists in all competitions this season (Transfermarkt).
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
It’s clear to see that West Ham think very highly of the Spaniard as they also tried to sign him in the summer of 2018, but he revealed that he turned down a move to London (Football Espana).
However, Tottenham’s interest could be a big blow for the Hammers.
Mainly because they have a greater chance of playing European football, which could be something that appeals to Moron.
The striker’s contract termination clause is set at €60m and being managed by a big-name like Mourinho could also entice the forward to move to the north London side.
Much depends on whether the Hammers remain in the top-flight. If they are relegated, then we believe they won’t have the funds to pay for Moron, and the player himself probably wouldn’t want to join the club if they drop down to the Championship.
