Recent Moyes snubs should convince Ajeti to leave West Ham

Albian Ajeti has been left out of West Ham United’s matchday squad for the last four Premier League matches and we feel that should be enough to convince him to look for a new club this summer.

Ajeti arrived from FC Basel last summer for £8m with a good goalscoring record, netting 21 times in all competitions last season (Transfermarkt).

However, he has failed to produce the same numbers in London, mainly because of the lack of playing time given to him.

The Swiss international is yet to start a top-flight match this season and we believe that this concerning trend should lead to him looking for a new club at the end of the season.

He’s not even been amongst the substitutes in recent matches, which could show that he is not part of the club’s plans going forward.

Ajeti spoke about his desire to work hard and fight for a place in the team earlier this year, but with manager David Moyes preferring Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio up front, that looks very unlikely.

Ajeti is still only 23, so we feel that he can’t afford to waste these valuable years watching on from the sidelines.

Ajeti has only played 126 minutes of league football this season and naturally, that won’t do his confidence and sharpness in front of goal any good, rather it is more likely to negatively affect both of those departments.

Before things get worse, we feel that he and his agent should be looking for a new club, particularly for a loan move, because these are meant to be some of the best years of his career.

The Hammers were reportedly ready to sell Ajeti in the January transfer window but struggled to do so, but we feel in the summer, it could be easier to offload him.
