West Ham fans are pleading with David Moyes to keep defender Jeremy Ngakia in the team this weekend for the visit of Southampton.
Ngakia came into the side for the trip to Anfield on Monday night and impressed a lot. The defender didn’t look fazed by facing one of the strongest attacks in the entire division. He made five tackles, the most out of everyone on the pitch, and also managed two successful dribbles, as per WhoScored.
The injury to Ryan Fredericks forced Moyes to make a decision at right-back, with the Scot deciding on Ngakia over veteran Pablo Zabaleta.
The youngster went on to secure an impressive 7.18 match rating, staking his claim for a consistent spot in the first-team squad.
Several West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the youngster, claiming that he should now have a consistent spot in the team, especially after his good performance last night against the Reds.
