West Ham went down 2-0 to Manchester City on Wednesday evening, but despite the defeat, one player was praised by several Hammers fans.
Declan Rice was the recipient of praise from West Ham fans on Twitter, with several calling the midfielder a cut above the rest of the Hammers team.
The Hammers are in a difficult spot now, as they are currently sat in the bottom three and without a win since New Year’s Day.
This means that relegation is a real prospect, with the Hammers facing a tough schedule that sees them face the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur away from home before the end of the campaign.
Reports have linked Declan Rice with a move away if the Hammers do go down, with the likes of Manchester United interested in a switch for the academy graduate.
Rice’s performance in midweek has led to these West Ham fans praising him, with some revealing that they will continue to support him even if does leave West Ham at the end of the season.
