West Ham will have to beat Wolves and Southampton to have any chance of survival, according to former player Trevor Sinclair.
Speaking to Jim White on talkSPORT (Wednesday, February 19th, 11:58 am), Sinclair discussed whether or not West Ham will survive in the top flight, especially with their tough fixture list coming up.
The Hammers have to face Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea before the end of the campaign, but do have some winnable games on their fixture list too.
Sinclair believes that the clashes against Wolves and Southampton could be key for their survival.
He said:
I’m looking at their games. Away at City tonight, then Liverpool. Then Southampton at home and Wolves a few weeks after. They have to be getting six points from those two games, Southampton and Wolves, if they are going to stay up.

The Hammers have some tough fixtures coming up, but to say it will be easy to get results at Southampton and Wolves could be seen as a bit of a stretch.
Both sides are in the top half of the table, and have picked up in form a lot recently.
Danny Ings has almost singlehandedly fired the Saints into the top half, after they started the season off as potential relegation candidates.
The ex-Liverpool man has 15 Premier League goals so far this campaign, and will be looking to add to his tally against West Ham.
Wolves, meanwhile ,sit eighth, despite a drop in form that has seen them only win one of their last five.
Raul Jimenez is still a huge threat though, with the Mexican’s goals being key for Wolves this season.
If Sinclair’s prediciton is correct, West Ham will likely need to play very well in order to win both of those matches.
