Tottenham keen on West Ham January target Serhou Guirassy

West Ham were reportedly after Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy during the January window, as per Sky Sports.

But now, the Hammers will have competition for the striker if they go back in for him, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly interested in a move for Guirassy, as per the Daily Mail.

The Frenchman has been linked with a switch to Tottenham, who have found themselves desperately short up front so far this season after to Harry Kane picking up long-term injury.

This is similar to West Ham, whose big summer signing, Sebastien Haller, has failed to really perform, with the Frenchman only picking up six goals so far this season.

Serhou Guirassy was linked with a move to West Ham over the January window, but the Hammers didn’t sign another forward before the window shut.

The Frenchman has a lot of talents, including a superb aerial threat with Guirassy winning 4.2 aerial duals per gam,e as per Who Scored.

He has notched over eight goals in 22 Ligue 1 appearances, as per Transfermarkt, so he clearly has an eye for goal too.

However, it now looks like the Hammers, should they decide to make a move for Guirassy again, could find themselves in a battle with Tottenham and if that’s the case, he could well fancy a move to Spurs, who’ll likely be playing European football next season, over a move to a West Ham side that will either be in the Championship or will have stayed up after a tough relegation battle.
