West Ham fans have been debating whether or not Diafra Sakho was one of the best strikers the club has had in the modern era.
The Senegalese striker, who is currently a free agent after his release from Stade Rennais, scored 24 goals for West Ham in 71 appearances.
However, he endured a testing time after his departure from the club, with a spell on loan at Turkish side Bursaspor not really resulting in much, whilst his return to Rennes saw him fail to make a single appearance before being released in January.
With Sebastien Haller struggling to get really get going since his £45 million move from Eintracht Frankfurt over the summer, several West Ham fans have called on the club to re-sign the striker, especially as he was a free-agent.
The debate has raged on, and several West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to discuss whether or not Sakho is one of the club’s better strikers of the modern era.
