West Ham boss David Moyes has made a plea for West Ham fans to get behind the team as his Hammers side prepare for the run-in in the Premier League.
Moyes has only picked up the one win since taking charge but has been tasked with getting his side out of the bottom three and securing Premier League football for next season.
The West Ham boss has given a rallying call ahead of the clash with Manchester City, with the Scot calling on the club’s fans to get behind the players, despite the off-field problems at the club.
Speaking to West Ham’s official website, Moyes said:
My message to West Ham fans right now is: ’Stick with the team, your support is going to be vital. At home, especially, I think you can play your part and you can be an influence’.
We have had very few decisions since we have been here I have felt that have gone for us and at times, the crowd can influence that and we need to try and get behind the team, which they have been doing, to be fair.
And I have to say they have been great with me, they’ve been really supportive and helped me since I have been back and I have to say ‘Stick with us and hopefully we will turn it around’.

The Hammers need to get some results, so the fans support could be so crucial in the run-in.
However, with the off-field problems still affecting West Ham, there has beeen somewhat of a toxic atmosphere at the London Stadium in recent weeks.
Moyes will have to live up to his end of the bargain and get his players performing for the remainder of the season and hopefully, the performances on the pitch will get those in the stand on their feet.
