Former West Ham striker Lucas Perez is a target for Barcelona, according to reports from AS.
Perez flopped at West Ham after signing last season, scoring only six goals in 19 appearances for the Hammers before joining Alaves for £2 million.
West Ham made a loss on the striker, after previously paying Arsenal £4 million to bring him to the London Stadium in the first place.
The player has flourished since returning to Spain, however, scoring nine goals so far this season, and now it looks like Perez could be on his way to the Catalan giants.
AS report that Barca have made the striker their “biggest priority”, and have been given emergency permission by the league to sign the striker after Ousmane Dembele was ruled out for the rest of the season.
Several West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react to this news, with several shocked that Barcelona are even considering a move for him.
