Sassuolo club president Giovanni Carnevali has revealed that Chelsea are interested in using their buy-back clause to sign winger Jeremie Boga, according to Goal.com.
Boga was linked with a move to West Ham in January, but it now looks like Chelsea might be looking to take the the winger back this summer.
Since leaving the Blues in 2018, Boga has gone on to rack up ten goals and five assists for the Serie A side, and has seemingly interested his former employers.
Carnevali told Goal that Chelsea have already opened talks over a potential return for Boga to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea can redeem him in June. We have a great relationship with the club and we already met them before Christmas – also for other business. We like to have a collaborative relationship. They can take him back but we can also re-sign him, everything is open.

West Ham were linked with Boga in January, but, the signing of Jarrod Bowen probably means that a future move is now unlikely.
Bowen fits the bill for what West Ham needed out wide, with the ex-Hull man able to provide both goals and assists.
With Area Napoli claiming that the Hammers would have to cough up over £21 million to sign Boga, and with West Ham paying around the same figure to sign Bowen, we believe that this means that a deal to sign Boga likely won’t come from the Hammers.
