Former West Ham man Kevin Nolan has joined David Moyes’ backroom staff, the club have confirmed.
Nolan, alongside former Brighton and Norwich City coach Paul Nevin have joined the Hammers as coaches, with the pair agreeing deals to join struggling Premier League side.
According to Football Insider, Joe Cole was also targeted by the Hammers, but the club failed to agree a deal with their former midfielder.
Former Hammers midfielder Nolan has been out of work since being sacked by Notts County in 2018, just months after guiding them to the League Two play-off final.
Nevin’s last role was with Brighton and Hove Albion, with the coach leaving the club after the sacking of Chris Hughton at the club.
Several Hammers fans have taken to Twitter to voice their satisfaction with the moves by West Ham, with many delighted that a figure such as Nolan is returning to the club.
